Love the Galt House! Best hotel in Louisville hands down!

The heat did not work in our first room and the staff was so nice about it and immediately moved us to a new room. Having said that I provided a good rating because I did not want it to reflect on the blatant racism of the bartender at the bar later that evening. My husband and I went to the bar for a drink around 9:30. The bartender addressed me and asked if I would like a drink, totally disregarding my husband who was standing right next to me. It wasn't until I looked at him did she ask him what he would like and made his drink and pushed it towards him. The bartender then made my drink and said, "here you go miss, have a great evening and enjoy," again, disregarding my husband. My husband then slid his drink back to her and asked that she address him the same way she addressed me at which point she did.

Very nice hotel. Great stay!

Clean and comfortable room, staff was very courteous.

I have been on a 10-year academic journey, studying, and needed a recharge. This was the perfect staycation. Everything was really very nice! Thank you.
